Miley's Performance -- The Opposite of Feminine Power?

Ok...you might be thinking enough already about Miley.  I felt that way too until I ran across this recently posted open letter from Sinead O'Connor to Miley.  The whole thing prompted this question in mind -- is overt sexism the opposite of true feminine power? Or, is overt sexism a display of a lack of power -- in effect powerlessness?
