Feminine Power IS Political Power

Thank the Ladies for their role in moving the government forward...

In remarks on the Senate floor today, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) specifically thanked the women of the Senate for leading the effort to reach a bipartisan deal to raise the debt ceiling and end the government shutdown.
Senators Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Patty Murray (D-WA), Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Susan Collins (R-ME) came together with other male senators to come up with a last-minute deal that the Senate and House are both expected to pass before midnight tonight.
Gretchen Carlson discussed the female-driven deal with Fox News contributor Jehmu Greene, Mary Kissel of The Wall Street Journal and Tea Party News Network's Scottie Nell Hughes.
Hughes says it's great that women led this effort, but she believes ultimately the deal is way too close to what the male Democrats wanted and is bad for the country.
Greene wondered whether there could be more bipartisanship if Congress was made up of 51% women, like the larger population.
"Women don't start kamikaze caucuses in the way that we've seen in the past few months. That's just not something that you would see a woman do. Kay Bailey Hutchison would not be doing the same thing Ted Cruz was. He replaced her," said Greene.
Watch the debate above and tell us what you think. Would Congress run more smoothly if women were in charge?
